NCDOT Division of Aviation is excited to announce our last workshop for year 2017 in Davidson County Community College, Thomasville, NC on October 12th. The event is free but we do require registration so we can keep a handle on attendees. Some of the topics for this workshop will be - • Presentations on drones for construction, surveying and inspection • Presentation on unmanned traffic management (UTM) system • Presentation on data management The focus of these workshops will be to show how beneficial and safe UAS/Drone technology can be with a focus on commercial and government operations. State and local government agencies who are interested in learning about this technology are encouraged to attend. Also, local commercial drone operators are encouraged to attend and network. We encourage you to pass this along to others you feel may be interested in the Piedmont-Triad and nearby area.
