Event Description:
In partnership with DCCC, clients from The Workshop Davidson and The Arc of Davidson County, are taking part in the first annual Art From The Heart event. As part of DCCC's Compensatory Education Program from adults with disabilities, a new art class that will explore several different mediums and creative outlets. The event will take place at The Workshop of Davidson from late Winter and through the Spring of 2012. Under the guidance of instructors, clients will be able to express their artistic ability. The end result will be the Art From The Heart Art Auction & Fundraising Dinner, with all final works not only being on display, but up for auction to raise much needed funds for these two vital community organizations.
