Event Description:
Join us for the 29th Annual Rives Race presented by High Point Bank to benefit Heart Strides, a cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation program at High Point Regional Health. The Fun Run begins at 8:00 a.m. and the 5K begins at 8:30 a.m. Prizes are given to the top three places in three divisions, as well as medals for age group winners. The race is timed using Championship Chip Timing and the course is scenic, flat, and fast! Proceeds from the 5K provide much needed scholarships to Heart Strides for patients who would otherwise be unable to afford this life-saving program. Proceeds from the Fun Run help fund heart and lung education programs for youth visiting the Millis Regional Health Education Center.
